ROTH MEDIA AND VIVLIA PUBLISHERS TO TAKE BACK THE SCHOOL CALENDAR

Vivlia - Take back your Future

A black owned independent educational publisher, Vivlia, has appointed Roth Media as digital and PR agency, to support matric learners in taking back their future. While the current COVID-19 pandemic has set back the school calendar, it has increased opportunities, such as online programmes, where the fun in learning is brought back into the home.

We, together with Vivlia, will equip learners with confidence to complete their preliminary exams and finish the year strong. The catch-up programme is especially crafted to meet the needs of parents, teachers, and learners, by providing a highly interactive and comprehensive learning platform.  It is produced in all official South African languages and is dedicated to quality education that is inclusive and culturally relevant.

With  Vivlia’s thorough research and development processes through diagnostic reports from the Department of Basic Education, we are looking forward to contributing a purposedriven programme through our PR, digital and content strategies.

AGENCY VALUSE ARE IMPERATIVE TO INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT

The eighth episode of Bizcommunity’s #ACACaresCOVID19 series accentuates the unprecedented value that small marketing agencies bring to the fast-paced creative sector. With a rapidly transforming industry, it has become more difficult for agencies to earn a seat in a pitch room, due to lack of opportunities. Our MD, Rorisang Setlogelo and African Partner of Relationship Audits and Management, Ann Nurock, shared some formidable insights on collaborations, representation and transformation that needs to occur for a successful marketing ecosystem.

PHILISA ABAFAZI BETHU, HEAL OUR WOMEN

The alarming gender-based violence incidences that have occurred over decades have dented our society and more than anything, shattered the lives of women across the world. With swelling daily statistics and a lagging justice system, Roth Media have united with the Philisa Abafazi Bethu non-profit organisation to work on a future in which women are not only protected but can reclaim power over their lives.

Their initiatives, including an after school and youth programme; women’s empowerment and support group; baby saver; search and rescue team; court support as well as a safehouse, are all in place to build a safe and auspicious environment for women and children to live a fulfilling and enriched life.

“Our voices need to be loud and proud. We can no longer cower,”

GBV activist, Hazel Freidman.

We want to see courage prevail, in all corners of civilization. From society to authority, policy transformations, right down to our own homes. Over and above this, we want to cement justice and the reformation thereof, as effectively as possible.

ROTH MEDIA IGNITES CREATIVITY

The Roth team has, during the past few months, pursued their individual passions and desires, all the while keeping innovation top of mind. The tenacity here at Roth hasn’t only come with ground-breaking strategic approaches to recent pitches won but has also come with extraordinary ways to keep interactive, happy, and financially sound.

Amongst the team are visual and musical artists, a radio host, jewellery maker, sports enthusiast, influencer and activist, entrepreneurs and hustlers, cooks and even mothers and fathers who have taken the past few months to nurture their interests and commit some time towards some of the things they love.

From hosting significant live interactions on social media to baking sessions and the making of exceptional art, we’re delighted to have rekindled all the joys and memories of crafting our dreams and ideas to life.
